The world’s largest sand island, this area is an incredible site at 184000 hectares. The island is covered by rainforest that grows in the sand; there are many fresh water lakes and crystal clear creeks that are amazing to look at and even better to swim in.To explore this area you either need to book a tour or hire a 4x4 as no cars are allowed on the island due to no tarmac roads. You can drive along 75-mile beach and the waters around this coast are visited by Humpback Wales between late July and early November.
